Hello West Rocks…and Happy Holidays!
We are officially on break and ready to celebrate! We had a great spirit week sponsored by our Student Council. Between the festive holiday apparel and the throwback Thursday with decade day, the whole school had a great time! Congratulations to grade 8 that won the color wars on Thursday. I had one student tell me he needed to “part the red sea!”
Congratulations to all our students that were recognized during our grade level Q1 PAWS awards. Thank you to all the families that were able to attend and a special shoutout to all our staff members that organized. Check out the pictures above!
Thank you to everyone that gave to our donation drive! We were able to support 75 families within the West Rocks community!

As we reflect on a fantastic start to the school year, I want to thank our students, staff, and families for their dedication, positivity, and teamwork in making West Rocks a place where everyone can thrive. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR IXL WINNERS!
Congratulations to the classes below for winning our December IXL Math Competition! They all earned a pizza party during lunch last Thursday. Stay tuned for our next schoolwide competition in January. IXL Science!
GRADE 8 HIGH SCHOOL CHOICE
Grade 8 met virtually with Ms. DiCerbo and Dr. Golding to discuss the application process for high schools. Families are encouraged to view. Any questions can be directed to Ms. DiCerbo. T

SKI & SNOWBOARD CLUB 2025
| The WRMS Ski & Snowboarding Club will take 4 afternoon trips to Mt. Southington this winter. There will be separate registrations and payments to both Mt. Southington and West Rocks. The club advisers are Dr. Reynolds, Ms. Gacesa, and Ms. Sabol. Trip dates:
