Semi-Formal Dance

Hello Grade 8 Families-
The PTA is sponsoring a Semi-Formal Dance for Grade 8 only on Friday, May 17th from 6:30pm-9:00pm. A semi-formal dance attire is more formal than causal clothes that are worn each day to school. If your child needs assistance with something to wear, please reach out to myself or Mrs. Amaral.

Dr. Reynolds and I met with the students yesterday to speak about the event and share all the details. You can watch that broadcast here. Students were able to pick-up a blue permission slip at the end of the day. Extra permissions slips can be found in the main office and at lunch.

The dance will follow the same expectations as previous dances. Students can purchase a ticket at lunch for $10. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the door. Students also have the ability to bring a guest to the dance. The guest MUST be an 8th grader from another Norwalk middle school and have the permission slip signed by their administrator to signify that they are in good standing.

Dinner will be served. We are asking families to consider providing donations for dinner. The sign-up sheet can be found here. Doors open at 6:30 for dinner registration. We will also need families to volunteer to serve dinner and chaperone. 

SAVE THE DATE: We will be hosting a virtual family meeting on Tuesday, May 14th at 7pm to discuss details around Promotion. It will be broadcast live on our YouTube channel.
