Welcome to West Rocks Middle School

OUR MISSION: At West Rocks Middle School, our goal is to prepare our students to be good citizens when they are promoted to high school. They must demonstrate the following traits: character, service, leadership and scholarship.

Students display or demonstrate character in the following ways:

  • Responsibility
  • Good listening
  • Kindness
  • Mutual respect of others, things, and themselves 

Students display or demonstrate service in the following ways:

  • Giving back to the community, both locally and globally

Students display or demonstrate leadership in the following ways:

  • Use their moral compass
  • Be an effective communicator, collaborator, and problem solver
  • Inspire others

Students display or demonstrate scholarship in the following ways:

  • They think critically.
  • They are ready to learn, be persistent and self-motivated.
