May 3, 2022

This meeting replaced the April meeting. Below please find the budget information that was gone over.

It was held in two parts - part one reviewed the budget expectation and part two was in breakout rooms discussing the role of the SGC in general for new members of the board.

The PowerPoint that the NPS CFO Mr. Lunda Asmani reviewed during the meeting is attached.

  • Slides 16-23 are more specific to this year's budget, including magnet funding numbers for those returning members.
  • Please note WRMS requested over $300,000 for our magnet program (dual language) and are receiving $87,000. We plan to supplement that amount to hire another Spanish Language Arts teacher.
  • The WRMS budget meeting is scheduled for 5/19 at 8:00 am with the Finance Department and other members of Central Office.
